Most grill sales start in the first half of November, and Home Depot and Lowe's begin on October 29. Broil King built a pellet grill its gas customers would recognise. Heavy, gasketed, cast iron, with the rotisserie already in the box. What it did not build is a line saying how hot Grill goes.

When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30. Last year most grill brands started their sales in the first half of November, and this year Home Depot and Lowe's start on October 29.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a grill?
It is a good time, though not always better than summer. Last year Traeger's Black Friday prices matched its July 4 prices almost to the cent, and Weber ran the same $100 off for six weeks. Grills are a spring and summer purchase, so the real advantage of November is choice and stock, with clearance on last year's models.
Are Black Friday grill discounts real?
Not always. A "was" price can be a list price the grill rarely sells for. We track prices on the grills we test from September, so we can tell when a Black Friday price is lower than what the grill usually sells for.
Should I wait for Cyber Monday?
Usually not. Most grill sales run from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, and popular sizes can sell out over the weekend. Some brands, such as Ooni last year, add a bigger Cyber Monday discount, so it is worth a look if your grill is not in stock on Friday.
What should I check before buying a grill on sale?
Match the model number to the one we reviewed, since makers sell near-identical grills under different numbers at different stores. Check the fuel: many gas grills come in propane and natural gas versions that cannot be swapped without a kit. And count delivery and assembly, which can undo a small discount on a large grill.
