Every gas grill needs propane. This one also needs a wall socket.
The Neevo 720, model 720-1054, is Nexgrill’s smart two-burner. A three-pin plug hangs off a lead from the left of the cabinet. It powers a SureTemp controller sitting behind an LED panel. Nexgrill’s promise is that the controller holds your setting for hours.
Two burners is everything that controller has to work with. Which leaves one question worth the page. On a grill with two zones, what does an algorithm actually buy you?
Out of the carton this is a compact cart, not a wall of steel. It finishes at 51.97 inches wide and weighs 127 pounds assembled. Two shelves stick out either side for landing plates. Getting it onto a deck is a two-person job once, then never again.
Assembly is the usual flatpack evening. The cabinet goes together first, then the firebox, then the shelves. Only the lift onto the frame really wants a second person.
Stand back and the design is not trying to fool anyone. A stainless hood with a viewing window sits on a black painted cabinet. The red NEEVO badge and the red dial on the panel are the only colour. The cord is the detail that tells you what you bought.
Then you light it, and nothing surprising happens. That is a compliment. Cast iron puts proper bars on a burger, quickly. The display stays readable as the light goes, and the fire behaves like any decent two-burner.
That is exactly where the Neevo has to make its case.
Read this specification list in two halves. One half is an ordinary two-burner cart, and there is no shame in that. The other half is the electronics, and the electronics are what you are paying extra for.

The gas side is not where the trouble is. 44,000 BTU under 455.8 square inches is a generous budget at this size. The grate is cast iron, so it keeps what the burners hand it. Searing a steak is well within this grill.
Under the grates, two stainless flame tamers take the drippings. They break up the burner’s line of flame before it reaches food. With cast iron on top of that, heat arrives smoothed rather than striped.
Now count the controls. Two burners over a grate 26.5 inches wide gives each one about 13.25 inches. Two zones is the ceiling, and no setting adds a third.
The manual’s own heat bands say the same thing. One burner covers 200 to 400°F. Two burners cover 400 to 600°F. Low and hot are a burner-count decision here, not a dial position.
What SureTemp adds sits on a different axis entirely. It picks a point and stays on it without you watching. On a long roast that is worth real money. On a burger it is worth nothing at all.
The metal is where you would want it. Two cast-iron grates ride on stainless tamers, over stainless burners, under a stainless hood. 127 pounds on a 51.97 inch frame is dense for this class.
Look at the cart from the side and count what it rolls on. One end rides on large spoked wheels, the other on a pair of small casters. Nexgrill’s page counts them twice and gets two answers. The bullet list offers only two wheels; the table below adds the casters back.
Both side shelves sit inside the published 51.97 inch width. Nexgrill’s dimension graphic measures shelf tip to shelf tip. That is the number your wall has to take, not the width of the hood.
The durability question is not the steel, though. It is the panel, the display and the cord, all living outdoors permanently. Weather and electronics have never been friends. A cover is not an accessory on this grill.
Running this grill costs propane and a power outlet. The outlet is the part people forget until delivery day. Running a lead out through a window solves it badly. A weatherproof socket near the patio is part of the real price.
Nexgrill happens to sell the same grill twice, which shortens the value question. Burners, output, grates and controller are identical on the 720 Plus. It lists at $549.00 against $399.00 here, and stretches 69.29 inches against 51.97. If a grill is what you wanted, this is the better Neevo.
Nexgrill lists this one at $399.00 and shows it sold out direct. Other sellers quote higher, so shop the number rather than trusting one page.
The warranty shape says where Nexgrill’s own confidence sits. Burners get 5 years. Everything else gets 1 year, and that includes the controller this grill is named for.
Upkeep is undemanding. One removable grease tray slides out from underneath. Cast iron wants drying and oiling, and the panel wants wiping and covering. Neither job takes long.
Spares matter here as much as scrubbing does. Burners, grates and flame tamers are ordinary replaceable items, and Nexgrill sells them. The controller is a different proposition, and nothing about it is a weekend repair.

The Neevo 720 makes sense when your cooks run long. The controller earns its keep across a slow roast and adds nothing to a burger. It cannot give you a third zone, and no update ever will. Its precision runs along the clock, not across the grate.
